Over the holiday season we cruised with both Seeker and Wild Blue, stopping at Roche Harbor, Victoria Harbor for New Year's Eve and the following day and then on to Port Angeles, Port Townsend, and then Lake Union.
After our return from Seattle, we returned to Port Angeles and Platypus Marine to redo the port stabilizer seal which had begun leaking again. Repairs were made in one afternoon and Spirit was relaunched the next morning.
For the first time in several years we attended the Selene Rendezvous at Roche Harbor in late April, followed by a short cruise with Raindancer and Paige Marie to Sidney, Montague Harbor, Telegraph Harbor and Ganges.
Memorial Day weekend was spent at Echo Bay on Sucia Island followed by a stop at Roche Harbor, then Friday Harbor for several days. Spirit then headed back to Port Townsend, spending the night at Point Hudson Marina. The next day we transited the Port Townsend Canal and stayed for an evening at Kingston before anchoring in Poulsbo under warm sunny skies. From Poulsbo we headed back into Lake Union for replacement of some permeated sanitation hose causing unpleasant odors down below and also having Cummins Northwest check out a vibration. Cummins replaced the viscous damper which had failed, but that did not solve the problem.
We then headed to Gig Harbor to visit long time friends and celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary before heading back to Anacortes. We spent another evening in Kingston before having an uneventful crossing of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Since November we have logged another 1000 nautical miles.
July we plan on heading north to the Broughton's and staying until sometime in early September.
